NeoHabit Case Study

NeoHabit is a visual mobile habit tracker app designed to encourage positive daily routines using gamification, chart metrics, and interactive badge achievements.

The Bottleneck: Most utility trackers struggle with user retention. Dynamic notifications and list views felt mechanical, leading to a 75% dropout rate after the first week.

Target Audits: We polled 200 users and found that visual animations, streaks tracking, and custom rewards drastically improve daily app engagement.

Wireframing & Prototypes: Developed views prioritizing a radial progress circle on the dashboard, with sliding cards showing today's tasks and a locked trophy case.

Visual Design: Bright gradient indicators mapped against dark navy glass cards. Interactive Framer Motion streak fireworks trigger upon card completion.

Engineering Logic: Engineered using Flutter and Dart. Custom vector graphics are rendered natively at 120Hz. All habit histories are cached locally in SQLite for instant offline access.

Core Engineering Challenge: Designing an offline-first sync engine that prevents database overlaps when clients login from multiple devices. Resolved by establishing revision-based sync queues.
